Ragnarok Online II Review: A Story Told...
Posted on Tue Feb 05 01:43:42 2013
Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG from Gravity and Asiasoft Online, and the sequel to the original Ragnarok Online. I'll start of by saying this is a completely first impressionist review to this MMORPG; I'm not going to pretend and lie to you as if I've played any games within this series, however it boasts some interesting features and definitely warranted my attention to at least give it a shot, and so should you!...

No Audition Necessary-Superstar Live Review
Posted on Sun Feb 03 22:43:39 2013
Music-based games are a rare sight on the MMO market. You do not have as many choices with music games as you do with RPGs or shooters. Well, now there is a music game that is looking to make a scene, and that game is Superstar Live and it is free to play. Bringing anime-style graphics and recognition of modern devices, this game is a must-play for anyone looking to let loose and have some fun. Expect some exhilarating, Korean tunes to get your head banging and fingers tapping....

Why SWTOR's F2P Model Needs Help
Posted on Fri Feb 01 23:45:06 2013
Star Wars: The Old Republic went free-to-play last November, and with it came changes to accounts and access restrictions. As someone who has played a lot of F2P games, this is by far the most restricted one I've seen yet, in that it's more like an extended trial than anything....

Frost and Fire Rains Down On Us Review
Posted on Wed Jan 30 02:51:56 2013
Well we are here again a new patch new events and new things to conquer. First off Quaggin back yea NO! I however like the broomstick mount even though it does nothing in making you faster. Moving along fractals is revived and so are normal dungeons. With the new Orr loot added to their tables as well. I have not tried guesting yet but as I have said in the past that was a good idea. And if you haven't left for your favorite server you will be greeted with a hefty fee to do so....

The Path of Exile: Impression - Reverberation of the Past
Posted on Thu Jan 24 19:20:16 2013
The Path of Exile began Open Beta yesterday on January 23, 2013. The may be news to some but definitely something awaited by many action-oriented RPG fans of the genre. Path of Exile takes place in Wraeclast. From what I gathered through my first few hours in Path of Exile, it is a forsaken land where people have been out cast in to like a wilderness or no man's land kind of atmosphere. ...

Warface Overview by Ammunition
Posted on Wed Jan 23 17:59:41 2013
Well 2013 is here and another FPS game has come into the market. What is most interesting is from the publisher and developer of Crytek (the ones who gave you Crysis) gives you a free to play shooter that takes place in the near future. It will offer next generation of graphics, AI and even physics based on the Cry engine 3 game development system. Which makes it great to see how a real player dies when he/she is killed in battle....

MechWarrior Online Beta – Review
Posted on Tue Jan 22 18:04:12 2013
MechWarrior Online is classic, traditional and old school. The MWO is not like a shooter with Mechs, it’s like a tank simulator with Mechs (Tanks with Legs). If you ever played one of the old MechWarrior games, Counter Strike or World of Tanks, this game is going to feel a bit familiar to you, or at least it did to me. They share some mechanics and some of the complexity behind the gameplay....

Warframe Online First Impressions
Posted on Wed Jan 16 02:37:36 2013
Ok to start I first thought this game was some Predator rip off. But then I started playing and realized even if it was I didn't care. The game is pretty fun and at least a little different in the way it goes about things. You start out in training lost your memory (of course) you get shown the ropes. After that you get to choose between arch types. Which seem like your standard; Rifle, Recon, Heavy classes with a slight twist. ...

Horrible MMORPG facts: When sequels kill the whole game franchise
Posted on Mon Jan 07 02:27:15 2013
The first thing it comes to our minds when we hear the word 'sequel', it’s for sure something related to movies, that indeed was made to keep the saga alive, and let the fans feel that there’s a lot be expected in the next films. Anyhow, it’s also a fact that sequels are also a common habitude in the gaming scene. Consequently, successful games commercially speaking of, always had an installment based on the first ones at times which had a clear objective: Expand the whole franchise with a new universe or world, characters, areas and classes....

Planetside 2 - Review by Pelagato

Planetside 2, is probably the only "Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter" aka MMOFPS. I am saying such thing because is the only shooter that is massive. After all, we are fighting all over the planet of Auraxis....
