PC Games

I thought I'd start a new thread, apologies if this is already on here, I could not be bothered to look.

I was yearning to play Kotor I + II so googled and amazonned about for xbox versions, they were ridiculously expensive so I went for PC versions, I got K2 for £7 and KotoR I for £17, but with Empire at War, Republic Commando and Battlefront included.

Wondering if anyone else enjoyed the odd PC game?

I tend not to play as I have a laptop, but I do love KotoR. On that note, my system always runs hot, anyone know of innovative ways to keep my laptop cooler? I have it on a metal tray which elevates it an inch, but any help would be appreciated.

When I win the lottery I'll buy a new pc, one the runs kotor better. I'm suprised I had this much horsepower to be honest.

I sometimes do, particularly if there is lack of internet and I am bored on my computer or something within that range. Used to play a lot more before, but now seems I don't have time for anything, so I usually start some quests but never get to the end of them, cause they take way too long. Favourite one is still Syberia, though I don't quite remember what it was about

I've rediscovered a lot of old PC games since investing in a netbook - there's something thrilling about playing Total War on a screen I can all but fit into a coat pocket. Picked up Baldur's Gate 2 for the thing a few months ago. Remember when BioWare used to make games like Baldur's Gate 2, everybody?

I only got into gaming after playing metal gear solid and realising that a game can also be a great storytelling device and be fun. Total war is brilliant, I have no idea where my copy of it is.
