Defiance hands-on - a Halo moment for MMOs on Xbox?

Your comments on our articles.

Trion Worlds' intriguing TV-game crossover packs a punch

Thunk. A weird, glowing yellow spike is sticking out of your shoulder. Thunk. Another buries itself in your neck. Thunk. Right in the knee. You do your best to shake them off and get moving, but they begin to grow. Like a tick fat with blood, they expand into bulbous, translucent sacs of goo. Then they burst off your body, sprout legs, and start scrambling around in search of their next victim. Welcome to Defiance. It's brutal out here.

Surely this is next gen territory? Does sound really interesting though, would be great to see MMOs on Xbox, or its descendants.

First mmo that has made me think it would be good, but then I remember it's an mmo and I couldn't give a ship. I like to game when I want, and be my own boss, mmos strike me as needing to organise times where everyone is synched up, and you needing other players to progress or have fun. It was part of the problem of borderlands 2 for me, you needed other people to play with, and the grindy nature meant you needed to play it a lot, whereas I like to play whatever I'm in the mood for.

Plus, organising wise, we still haven't had that GoW3 session lol, it's only been 18 months.

Better hurry, I'm thinking of trading it along with a load of other now seldom played bits for DmC on Friday.

lol I'll keep it, I sort of gave up when I couldn't get all the achievements and no one really played after the dlc released, which is good dlc but.. lonely.
