I really liked this game...I dont know what they were expecting from a Scribblenauts game...maybe explosions and more guns? new weapon loadouts like Cod? Sigh its a shame to paint all games with 1 big brush..

@IanNottinghamX This comment is pretty funny if you know my tastes. I detest Call of Duty and have grown tired of the me-too shooters that have become so popular. You assumed that I like (and wanted) something that I actively try to avoid.

It's a shame to paint all reviews with 1 big brush. This series has an consistent issue, the "unlimited" factor can serve as a positive point as well as negative. It provides completely open solutions for those with creativity, but for the ones that lack imagination, it's an easy, repetitive game. If you read the review with an open mind, instead of "the game I love must get a 9 or the reviewer is a CoD fanboy," you'd see where he was coming from.I love Scribblenauts, but I don't find the game to be encouraging or rewarding enough for those who choose to be creative. Even so, I don't find it any less enjoyable, a 7 is a fair score based on his review.

Really? I have to enter my age to watch a ScribbleNauts review?

Seems like a fine game, a good change from all the FPS garbage we have flooding the industry nowadays...

I woulda liked to see this game as an rpg with player levels, where you can only conjure things within your current power/level. Where you work your way up to making the most powerful things in the game. Kinda like a drive to keep playing instead of being able to make anything as soon as you play. I got the first 2 though. Quickly got bored of the 2nd.

@genjuroT That would be frustrating and limit your creativity. Also, how would you know what you have unlocked. Part of the fun is discovering for yourself what you can conjure, and listing what's available to you would ruin this.

On the other hand, if you had this feature but the game didn't tell you what you had unlocked, it would be frustrating. You'd waste time entering gorilla only to find out it's not available to you yet.

@capper64 You're right, all true. I just want this game to have more of a drive instead of giving you everything at the start. I'm not sure how they'd do that though, apparently lol

@genjuroT The whole idea of the game is fantastic, it's just a shame it works much better in theory than in practice. My girlfriend had the first one for DS, and I thought it was a novel idea and had a lot of fun playing it, but if I had it myself I'm sure it would have bored me after a little while.

Great game. Some of the puzzles are incredibly easy, but the charm and fun of solving the more difficult ones makes this game a pleasure to play.
