God of War: Ascension PS3 bundle includes all six games

New $350 500GB garnet red system to launch in March featuring 30-day PS Plus membership and all God of War games to date.

Sony is marking the return of Kratos with an all-new, game-stuffed system bundle. The company today announced the $350 God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle, which features a 500GB garnet red system (with matching controller), a copy of God of War: Ascension, and the God of War Saga.

This includes God of War, God of War II, God of War III, and the God of War: Origins Collection (which includes PSP games God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta).

In addition, the God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle includes a 30-day trial membership to PlayStation Plus.

The bundle will be available day-and-date with God of War: Ascension on March 12.

Sony just last weekend launched a 500GB white PS3 model, marking the first time Sony had ever released a PS3 in any color other than black in the United States or Canada.

The God of War series has sold over 21 million units worldwide since it launched in March 2005. God of War: Ascension is a prequel to the original, and is the first entry in the franchise to feature a multiplayer component. A trailer for the game will play during the online Super Bowl XLVII stream this weekend.

well 6 games which each game is pretty much the same 

just with other weapons each game

It looks really ugly, i don't really like that color.  A darker red or blue, would have been a better choice of color.

I've had the original 80GB model for a while...I don't like having so low memory. I finally have a good reason to get a newer one. This will be mine. Even though I'm getting Ascension CE and I have Saga it doesn't matter, I can easily sell both of those together for at least $80 which puts this system at 270...perfectly fine for me.

This is not a deal at all. There is no reason why this should be $350. It should be $300 at most. The saga collection is not worth the extra $50. It only costs $40 by itself.

It doesn't matter what color they make new super-slim PS3.  It is just hideous and feels like cheap plastic.  A buddy of mine has one and the top cover is already broken.

Yeah, and? The god of war saga collection is a bunch of old games, and it only costs $40. The Assassin's Creed 3 bundle was only $300. The saga collection should be a throw in.

@faceless-mask Umm, no. You are just making excuses for this bad deal. Sony already set the precedent with previous bundles. ACIII bundle as a recent example. The only thing that's extra in this is The Saga Collection and that's supposed to make up that extra $50, when by itself it's $40, or even less when on sale? Sorry, but this isn't a good deal, and you are just making excuses for Sony's horrible marketing.

@pound-u @DarkNeoBahamut @mariokart64fan I mean, if you buy each component individually, the total cost can range from 400-500 dollars. 300 for the PS3, 60 for Ascension, 40 for the Saga Collection, or if you want, then a total of 80-100 dollars for all of the games. Not the saga collection. So, why should they throw in the saga collection for free?

@pound-u @DarkNeoBahamut @mariokart64fan The AC3 bundle gave you exactly 1 game, that being AC3, and the 30 day membership. This bundle offers GoW Ascension, the 30 day membership, and every single other GoW game till date, 2 of which were released 2 years ago (3 if you want, since it's 2013). They've basically thrown in GoW, GoW2 and GoW Chains of Olympus in for free.

You fuckfaces I just bought a PS3 and didn't get the GoW saga edition because they're sold out and now you're going to release all 6 games in a bundle. I hate you. Bundle the games and actually SHIP the games to retailers.

Man i've never really looked twice at the PS3 having all my console needs filled by my dear o'l Xbox, but deals like that and a cute little red number can turn a guys head :)
