Erato
The Erato label was founded in Paris in 1953, when there was very little Renaissance and Baroque music to be found in the catalogues of the recently developed long-playing record. This was to be the area in which Erato first made its mark and which subsequently established its fine and enduring reputation. Over the years a rich catalogue has emerged across all repertoire featuring artists such as conductor and pianist Daniel Barenboim, conductor Sir John Elliot Gardiner, early music specialist William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, legendary trumpeter Maurice André, organist Marie-Claire Alain, pianist Hélène Grimaud, mezzo-soprano Susan Graham and harpsichordist Scott Ross whose
complete recordings of Domenico Scarlatti’s 555 Harpsichord Sonatas were the first complete edition by a single performer. Many of the early recordings are now being reissued.

Teldec
Teldec was founded in Germany in 1950 as a co-operation between Telefunken and Decca Records. (The name TELDEC derives from the first three letters of both labels). Over its long history the label has been home to many great artists including conductor and pianist Daniel Barenboim, Spanish tenor José Carreras, conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt, the late world famous cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, violin virtuoso Maxim Vengerov and Dutch keyboard player and conductor Ton Koopman. Highlights include both the audio and video recordings of the 1991 Kupfer Bayreuth Ring cycle featuring Sir John Tomlinson and conducted by Daniel Barenboim, still considered the definitive version available. The catalogue also boasts the pioneering early music label Das Alte Werk, established as part of Teldec in 1958.

NVC Arts
Since the 1980s, NVC ARTS has been one of the leading producers and distributors of international opera, ballet and performing arts programmes with historic recordings from many of the world's major opera and dance companies: The Royal Opera Covent Garden, La Scala, Milan, The Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, the Kirov, the Bolshoi, American Ballet Theatre and Glyndebourne Festival Opera, among others. The result is one of the most extensive catalogues of its kind, featuring many of the greatest artists and performances of the era. In recent years, NVC ARTS has extended the catalogue to include contemporary works by choreographers such as Matthew Bourne and Mark Morris, and popular programmes such as Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Tribute Show from the Royal Court. Warner Classics
Since 2001, new recordings have been produced under the Warner Classics label, including recordings of the famous West-Eastern Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim. Other artists include conductor Sakari Oramo and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, pianists Nikolai Lugansky and Alessio Bax, violinist Daniel Hope, cellist Alexander Kniazev and the final recordings of the great Beaux Arts Trio. Uruguayan conductor José Serebrier has also made several recordings with the label, including the complete Glazunov symphonies with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and complete Glazunov concertos with the Russian National Orchestra.

Lontano was founded in 2005 by Pierre-Alexandre Mati and is distributed worldwide by Warner Music. Major artists include pianists Giovanni Bellucci and Valentina Igoshina, conductor Vladimir Fedoseyev and harpist Sylvain Blassel.

Finlandia is the national record label of Finland, featuring a large amount of Scandinavia repertoire including Paavo Berglund and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe’s complete recordings of Sibelius’ seven symphonies.
