No. 1 Minnesota's Amanda Kessel recorded her 200th point on Saturday when the Golden Gophers defeated Minnesota State. She is the 24th player in NCAA women's hockey to reach this milestone.
Fourth-ranked Cornell took a 2-0 lead into the second period and held on for a 3-1 victory against No. 6 Clarkson on Saturday behind 16 saves from goalie Lauren Slebodnick.
Behind sophomore Emily Field’s three points, including the game winning goal in overtime, third-ranked Boston College overcame a late deficit to top fourth-ranked Cornell 4-3 on Sunday.
Thanks to goals from Jessica Campbell, Brianne Jenner and the game-winner by Alyssa Gagliardi, fourth-ranked Cornell was able to defeat ninth-ranked Northeastern 4-2 on Saturday.
