With Colorado's Joanne Reid and Rune Oedegaard winning Sunday's Nordic events, the Buffs came back from behind Denver to win the 2013 Denver Invitational by 19 points.
Vermont Athletics
Vermont took home its first win of the season at the St. Lawrence Carnival, piling up 1,013 points to top Dartmouth's second-place finish. Elli Terwiel earned her first win of the year.
Vermont Athletics
Travis Dawson and Kristina Riis-Johannessen each won a slalom race on Day 2 of the UVM Carnival to give Vermont a 28-point lead. The winner will be determined by the Nordic races on Feb. 2-3.

Coming off its national championship in 2012, Vermont opened its season with a 250-point outing led by Kate Ryley's giant slalom race victory. The Catamounts held a 50-point lead after Day 1.
