SUMMARY

Bracket Town is the Ultimate Final Four Fan Fest, offering more than 300,000 square feet of family-friendly activities. A budget-friendly, four-day indoor interactive event, Bracket Town targets basketball fans and fans of all NCAA sports by offering them a chance to meet legendary coaches and former college stars at exclusive autograph sessions, sign up for daily youth clinics, and participate in a host of sport activities ranging from basketball to lacrosse to hockey and more. The weekend also boasts a variety of unique entertainment including the annual “Battle of the Bands” featuring the bands and cheerleaders from the participating NCAA teams. Rounding out the weekend experience is the POWERADE® 3v3 basketball tournament, open to kids of all abilities and ages – from ages nine to 40+.

POWERADE® 3 v 3 Tournament

 

OVERVIEW

Kids and adults alike can register to participate in the POWERADE 3 v. 3 Tournament, inside Bracket Town refreshed Coca-Cola Zero. Participation on youth teams is decided by the age of the oldest player of the team. This event is limited to eight teams per division in the following age groups:

 

Male: 9-11; 12-14; 15-17; 18-25; 26-35; 40+

Reese’s Final Four Friday is a free event for fans to come watch the student athletes from the 2013 Men’s NCAA Final Four teams participate in one of their final practices before the national semifinal games. Fans who attend will have the opportunity to hear from each head coach after their sessions and engage in on-court promotions. The day concludes with the Reese’s College All Star-Game tipping off at 4:35 p.m. ET.

NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball National Championship Game

 

OVERVIEW

Philips Arena, April 7 at 12:30 p.m. ET, Cost: Free

 

For the first time in tournament history, the Division II and Division III championship games will take place in the same city hosting the Division I championship. The final two Division III teams will compete for the championship title at 12:30 p.m. ET in Philips Arena. This event is free and open to the public, and is a chance for basketball fans to experience the championship action up close.


NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship Game

 

OVERVIEW

Philips Arena, April 7 at 4 p.m. ET, Cost: Free

Watch elite athletes from the top-two Division II schools compete for the championship title at 4 p.m. ET at Philips Arena. This event is free and open to the public, and is a chance for basketball fans to experience top-rated talent in a small setting.

Since opening in 1999, Philips Arena has welcomed fans to a wide variety of events. The exciting history of events includes award-winning musicians, chart-topping artists, professional and college sports, entertaining family shows, and more. Philips Arena will host the 2013 DII & DIII Men’s Basketball Championships in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary of March Madness events that will be held the weekend of April 5-8. The Final Four Dribble gives 3,200 kids the chance to dribble their way through the heart of the 2013 Men’s Final Four activities at the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), to help commemorate the Men’s Final Four and this year’s 75th celebration of March Madness. Participating kids will receive a T-shirt, basketball and free entry into Bracket Town.

NCAA Youth Clinics are a community outreach program that connects third  thru eighth grade children with selected championships and provide them with resources designed to have a lasting impact. Participants receive sport instruction from NCAA coaches and student-athletes and get valuable information on recruiting, eligibility and youth sports issues. The 2013 Men’s Final Four Youth Clinics are brought to you by Powerade (Coca-Cola), who will provide a T-shirt and promotional items for all participants. Through the NCAA youth clinic, participants are encouraged to live a healthy, active lifestyle.

The Georgia Dome, opened in 1992 as the largest cable-supported domed stadium in the world, is located in downtown Atlanta. The Dome was the host to Super Bowl XXVIII and XXXIV, host of the gymnastics and basketball events for the 1996 Olympic Games and host to the NCAA Men's Final Four two times (2002, 2007) and the NCAA Women's Final Four in 2003. Transportation & Parking


The Georgia Dome is located to the immediate west of the downtown Atlanta area on the corner of Northside Drive and Georgia Dome Drive. The Dome is also accessible by the MARTA rail system via Vine City and Georgia Dome stations. Parking is at a premium on event days, so taking MARTA is highly recommended. For complete information on MARTA click here. Many MARTA stations offer free parking lots.


While traveling to and from games, all drivers are encouraged to follow the directions of traffic police.
