I personally think there's a lot of unnecessary ranting and a lot of jumping on the bandwagon.

The policies are gone, so I'm pretty sure that the xbox one will do fine now. I just really wish they would announce a Halo Wars 2 at this point.

yeah agreed although we will be losing some features as a result like the game sharing feature.

The Xbox one did have a better line up of games, but when it came to policies and price, the ps4 won.

policies not an issue for me personally but I can see how it would be for some. As for price I look at it like this ps4 £350 + ps eye £60( not included with PS4) PS+ is now required to play online so that's another £40 total £450 not cheaper compared to Xbox £429.99 all Xbox's include kinetic and your Xbox live gold is used for both 360 and Xbox one which i already have a membership up to 2015 so we you really think about it it is more expensive to go to PS4 if you are a Xbox gamer.

All prices are in British pounds £.

Yea, I didn't care for anything the PS4 had to offer as far as games.

Same here the games they showed were very impressive.

Sony just slapped Microsoft in the face over and over and, the PS4 definitely won. But, what does the PS4 not have? Halo. I already have the xbox one preordered just for Halo 5 (and titanfall). I will try to get the ps4 next year.

I really dont think so the Xbox's game line up was far more impressive.

The power of the Xbox one will be more than enough power for a Halo Wars 2.

Whats everyone's opinion on the One I am personally buying one as i liked the line up of games and exclusives plus the always online 24 verify thing doesn't bother me as i always have access to the internet and i never buy used games. Was hoping for some Halo Wars 2 reveal but it never came but they did show a reveal of Halo 5 coming in 2014.

And there are quite a lot of benefits to the 24 hour DRM check that a lot of people are overlooking heres the advantages:

Games apps etc are always up to date no more waiting 10 mins for a game patch.
Server connected games means the games are running in real time meaning everything in game can be updated instantly

servers can handle some of the game processing eg FOG clouds etc.

allows developers to do much more new invoations

Many gamers dont understand that these benefits are huge imagine starting a game of halo 5 leaving and finishing it off on you're Windows 8 PC.

This is like the first time they acknowledged Halo Wars this much. Before, they had like a cyclops in a Halo 4 map and that was it. Now they are going with a game using the same engine.

Well like I said. Not completely forgotten Halo Wars.
Maybe they're testing something on the engine? I don't know what.

...Or maybe not. I have to have hope over here.

I think they are going to see how well it sells and then go from there on the decision of Halo wars 2

It looks like it is using the Halo Wars engine with some Halo Wars vehicles which is good, but the key problem is it being only on Windows 8. That will turn most buyers away, but luckily I recently got a new computer with windows 8.

I love Windows 8 so many people complain about it but I am a Techy guy and plus I work in the IT industry. Think I will be just buying it on Windows Phone though.
