World Series of Poker: Full House Pro, a free-to-play card game, is set to release for Xbox 360 and Windows 8 this spring, Microsoft has announced.
Promising a range of game modes, from single player bouts to full online tournaments, Microsoft hopes to give "players the authenticity of a live WSOP event, delivering the most realistic poker experience possible to TVs and Windows 8 devices around the world."
The feature sheet covers cross-platform compatibility, allowing players to continue their games on Xbox and Windows 8 devices, and commentary from ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.
Full House Pro forms part of Microsoft's recent investment in the free-to-play model. Multiple free-to-play games are apparently on their way to Xbox Live Gold subscribers, including the boggling mash-up of high fantasy combat and asynchronous multiplayer features that is Ascend: New Gods.
Find the full Full House Pro feature list below the trailer. Any card-sharps in the house?

Nice to see the Official magazine sticking it up a day after CVG but anyhoo on topic...
Looks like an obvious next step for Full House Poker, as its prime for FTP. Nice to see the extra effort made in terms of getting a license and getting known commentators on board, could be great depending ob how it plays, nothing more annoying than the bingo players on Full House Poker but I guess any poker game which plays for fun than cash is like that...
Be nice if we can carry our amounts and XP over to it as well, seeing as i've got 27 million in chips but hey not the end of the world if they don't

Don't forget CVG has a whole staff just for creating their website and filling it. OXM have Edwin, and he has to review games for the printed mag as well.

Fortunately, this week I can call on the able assistance of Alex Hawksworth-Brookes, a man of substance and insight. He leaves tomorrow. There may be lamentation.

No one would miss him in the real world, chain him to a post in the office like a goat, occasionally dropping games and the like within his reach.
