Subject: "Of Mice And Men" Exam tips?

I've got an English exam on the novel "Of Mice And Men" tomorrow. If anyone has read the book, and undergone an exam/assessment etc. Any tips or hints, or certain scenes or language that could score me me some high marks? Cheers guys.

The turning point of the novel is the spaceship scene, where Emperor Xarg is threatening to destroy the universe. At that moment, Captain George Milton makes the brave decision to sacrifice his own life to safe that of humanity. When he grabs the nuke and throws himself into Xarg's black hole, he knows he is dooming himself to an agonizing death. But he emerges unscathed on the other side of the black hole, three days later.

I find you rather shallow and pedantic.

Main themes are of loneliness and dreams.

Steinbeck is showing how the american dream is not as it seems.

Shows how all areas of society are affected by the depression:
George: the working-class
Lennie: the Mentally handicapped
Candy: the Elderly
Crooks: the ethnic minorities
Curley's wife: women

Its important to understand why the Mice won. They had advanced cybernetics and Mecha. The men were only fighting with Uzi's and hand grenades. The balance here is important as it symbolizes Master Chief's battle against the Metroids. Now, in Chapter 7, the WH40K Space Marine Punches Marcus Fenix. This seemed a bit random, but the background character of Captain Price is meant to be a symbol of futility in revenge. Don't forget to show Mario doing a Fus Do Rah shout against Dr Wiley. That was a key moment, a watershed if you will for the whole struggle.

Watch the film, its pretty good (will hopefully support what you already know) and what type? GCSE or an A-Level exam?
