Rolex Datejust

Watches are beautiful and are often considered the only acceptable kind of jewelry for men. So what kind do you wear? Sporty? Classic? Big and rugged? Sleek and stylish? In any case, make sure it's got a mechanical movement inside and the word "battery" is not mentioned anywhere in the watch's manual.

We're kicking off the new year with the ever-stylish and über-classic Rolex Datejust. In this case, we chose the 18-carat yellow gold Rolex Datejust ref.116138. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust, as it is officially named, was the first wristwatch with a date function when it was launched in 1945.
