One of the classic Super Famicom RPGs hits the Game Boy Advance through this full port. The game features updated graphics, tweaked gameplay and all new game elements. You can now select between hirgana and kanji characters. A new movement gauge has been added to the ATB (active time battle) system to make play a bit easier. The GBA version adds new dungeons, where each character's ultimate weapon is hidden, as well as new events for each character, allowing you to explore the story deeper than before. Clear a certain event, and you'll end up forming a party with all the characters you've met throughout your adventure.
- Supported Functions
- Number Of Players: 1
- New 50-Floor Dungeon -- Available after completing the game, this dungeon is randomly generated based on the level of the player characters.
- Active Time Battles -- The Active battle system keeps the tension high by allowing your enemies to act while you decide on your characters' next moves. You'll need to make your decisions quickly or your foes will pummel your party while you hesitate.
- Black & White Magic -- Certain characters have mastered the art of magic and can cast spells to harm foes or heal allies. Attack spells are the domain of Black Magic while healing, secret knowledge and movement spells belong to the White Art.
- Summoning Magic -- A special gift held by the people of Mist, magic often takes a long time to cast and consumes a great deal of Magic Points, but the effects can be quite stunning!
