Where to Buy Recent Falcom JDK Live Albums/DVDs

By Quasi (Nov 08, 2012) (#1)

I'm looking to buy the following Falcom JDK Live Albums/Videos:

Acoustic LIVE DVD Collection -Falcom x jdkTV-: http://vgmdb.net/album/35621
Falcom JDK Band 2011 Summer Live in Nicofarre: http://vgmdb.net/album/34205
Falcom JDK Band 2011 X'mas Live in Yokohama Bay Hall: http://vgmdb.net/album/34206
Falcom jdk BAND 2012 Super Live in nicoffare LIVE DUPLI CD: http://vgmdb.net/album/35047

Chara-ani seems to sell the last three:

http://www.chara-ani.com/details.aspx?prdid=B12512021
http://www.chara-ani.com/details.aspx?prdid=C12300171

But based on a Google translation of their terms and conditions, they appear to not ship outside Japan.  I can't find any place selling the Acoustic Live album.

Are there any places you can order these items from the USA, or should I try an importer such as Jerold?

Thanks,
Jeremy

weird that Falcom doesn't (seem to) sell these directly.

I'm pretty sure you could use a middleman service like Shopping Mall Japan to buy from Chara Ani.

That said, the items are already pretty expensive, and SMJ isn't afraid to dole out big transaction fees.

In other words ... good luck!

Yeah the Chara-ani shop is the exclusive distributor for those DVDs, so I used CDJapan's middle man service to order one of the Blue-rays.

Unfortuantely the release date got delayed/bumped back to just "Nov" in general, so it better still be coming out instead of getting cancelled, because CDJ already charged me for it when initially ordering...

Will let you know if/when it ships and arrives to me, I can resell to ya.

The Acoustic Live is an enclosure ONLY, not stand alone retail, and it comes enclosed with the 1st print of "Nayuta no Kiseki" PSP game.

That would be awesome.  Thanks Carl!

On the plus side, there are now lots of Falcom albums on international iTunes for reasonable prices (https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/falc … d120174391), so at least it's easier and cheaper to get newer albums Falcom publishes directly if you don't need a physical CD.  They even have some older albums that were hard to find before. I remember paying $70 for a used copy of Falcom Neo Classic, and you can now get it on iTunes for $20.  They even have the Ys IV and Sorcerian Perfect Collections.

The Nicofarre 2012 Blueray disc finally shipped at the end of December.
I've updated the vgmdb page.

Best JDK performance since the rebirth.

The band members are much more comfortable with "owning" the material, tweaking the styles, and working in more solos, so their musicianship as a unit has improved with time.

They blazed through a high energy 5-song marathon of tracks 9~13 with seamless transitions, that section really had me impressed.

The bonus content includes some of the Acoustic studio performances that they've streamed online from JDK-TV

Oddly enough, Bonus feature also has the 2 singers in the company's kitchen/lunch room doing their own cooking show face-off, making their own food for over almost an hour!?!

Anyways, I'm open for resale, send me an email with a price and we'll go from there.
