Millionaire playboy by day, vengeful and merciless crimefighter by nig--wait, that's stupid. Let me start over. Joyless medical intern by day, occasional game reviewer by night. Damn, that's also stupid. Well, at least it's honest.
I've been at RPGFan for a while now, skulking creepily in the shadows for the most part but coming out every so often to churn out some reviews. My work here is almost exclusively on the side of game reviews, and very occasionally soundtrack reviews.
As a gamer, I can play and enjoy most kinds of games, with the exceptions of Sports games (which I would prefer to actually play in real life, myself), Puzzle games (few of which - Lumines and Tetris being two examples - can interest me), and Simulation games (especially dating sims... just ugh). I am possibly one of the biggest fans you can find of the Suikoden series, having been collecting its associated games and merchandise for years now. I also greatly enjoy almost all the games Bioware makes - yes, that includes Dragon Age 2 and Sonic Chronicles.
Unfortunately, due to being a medical intern at [LOCATION REDACTED] and also working part time as a language tutor (teaching English, Chinese, and basic Japanese), I am allowed very little free time where I am able to do anything other than play games; nevertheless, I partake in such activities as writing, martial arts, and occasionally cooking, though my cooking happens to be notoriously horrific. I try to read whenever I have extra time (which is not often, admittedly), and I have a particular fondness for the novels written by the late Douglas Adams. I abhor the Harry Potter books, much to the confusion and astonishment of many of my friends. My favorite piece of literature is The Grapes of Wrath, not because I especially like it, per se, rather I find its thematic elements and impact to be incredibly important, even today.
I also hate pigeons. Damnable feathered fiends.
