The final downloadable expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops is just around the corner and we're here to give you the lowdown on all of the features these five maps have to offer. Are you ready to fight Zombies on the moon? That might sound absurd but it could be some of the most off the wall fun Black Ops has to offer.

As the name implies the Rezurrection Map Pack is centered around the living dead. In addition to a brand new map set on the moon the Map Pack also offers four re-mastered maps from Call of Duty: World At War. Here is a quick rundown of all of the improved WaW maps:

Night (Nacht der Untoten) - Set in a rundown building (similar to WaW Airfield multiplayer map) this map features three different large rooms. When it comes to the Zombies mode this is map quickly became the standard. On this map the Zombies do not carry weapons or drop ammunition. Instead they rely on Melee attacks.

Asylum (Verrückt) - This map introduced Perka-Cola Machines that can give you a number of different power-ups. The vending machines introduced the speed cola, which allows you to reload faster. It also introduced Juggernog, giving you more helath and the Quick Revive perk which allows you to revive their teammates at an increased rate. Unlike the Nacht der Untoten map, Verruckt featured seven different rooms.

Swamp (Shi No Numa) - This map takes place in the pacific jungles. It is the only one that includes Japanese Imperial Zombies. This map introduced the notion of a special round that rewarded players after defeating a special zombie type. In the Black Ops Version included in the Rezurection map pack swaps out some of the weapons found in the original WaW version. Weapons that have been kept include the Wunderwaffe DG2, the FG42 and the STG-44.

Factory (Der Riese) - Taking place in a weapons factory this map was the last one introduced in Nazi Zombies. This map features teleporters that players can use to warp around the map. The defining features of Der Riese include two large rooms on either side of a mainframe as well as a power generator. You must activate the generator in order to get the teleporters up and running. In Black Ops you can unlock modern weapons using the Mystery Box.

The four classic maps are an excellent reason for considering the Rezurrection map pack but what if you already have the classic maps? Well then perhaps the prospect of fighting Zombies on the moon will convince you. The moon map brings new perks, weapons and of course the low gravity of the moon. The Mule Kick perk allows you to spawn weapons onto the field. The brand new Phasing Zombies are able to shift in and out of existence. Hopefully they will prove a test for beginners and veterans alike.

If you missed your chance to score these maps for free with the hardened or prestige edition last November then the Rezurrection Map Pack might be just what you need. Along with the five maps listed above the pack also includes a free premium theme for your Xbox 360. The Rezurrection map pack will be priced at 1200 Microsoft points / $15 USD.
