Storyline

It's Thanksgiving time in the Hundred Acre Wood and Winnie the Pooh and all his friends bring food for the big dinner. Piglet brings acorns, Pooh brings honey, Owl brings biscuits, Gopher brings lemonade, and Tigger brings ice cream. But then, Rabbit walks in and tells them their Thanksgiving dinner was unacceptable and informs them that a real Thanksgiving dinner includes turkey, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, so Pooh and his friends set out to find those very items. They're Really Beginning to Ruin This Nice Franchise!
22 November 2002 | by (U.S.A) – See all my reviews

It's Thanksgiving time in the Hundred Acre Wood and everybody, especially Winnie the Pooh, is excited. He hopes Christopher Robin will attend Thanksgiving dinner. Pooh's friends gathered around the table with their food. Piglet brought acorns, Gopher brought lemonade, Owl brought biscuits and Tigger brought chocolate ice cream. Just as they were about to eat, Rabbit interrupted and told them their meal was unacceptable for Thanksgiving and told them a real Thanksgiving dinner includes turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Rabbit then appoints Gopher to bake the pie, Pooh and Piglet to catch a turkey and Tigger to find cranberries. When the crazy quantam chase is over, Rabbit and the friends learn that a Thanksgiving dinner can be anything, rather than just plain turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie and they have a happy Thanksgiving after all.

Now I could say I enjoyed this special, but that would be lying. I was not too fond of it. Why does Rabbit always think he's better than everyone else? He isn't better than anyone! He really bugs me sometimes. But in conclusion, the kids will love A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving and adults, if you're that inclined, watch it with them, other than that, don't bother tuning in! A disappointment!
