The sky will clear overnight as the last of the snow exits out of Charlotte and Halifax Counties.
Temperatures overnight will plummet into the low and mid 20s, as the sky clears by dawn. Road surfaces that have been slushy Thursday evening will likely become more icy as the temperatures drop further below freezing.
Friday looks sunny, dry, and chilly with highs in the 30s, and highs rebound back into the 40s for both Saturday and Sunday. A larger surge of Arctic air moves in next week, bringing mountain snow showers and flurries elsewhere. Highs only in the 30s, lows in the teens.
