gamers don´t seem satisfied with this game XD

Well after watching videos of this game on youtube I can say that this is not a surprise at all. I mean come on this game is obviously a scam. On the plus side the creator is also the guy who helped with Big Rigs though so, hey, at least he did a little better this time!

I know this game was going to suck. The name is stupid. The concept is okay. But kind of dumb. And it looks very retarded. Now I know its not killzone 3 or battlefield 3 but just look at it. I have been a gamer for more than a decade and I can till. Those graphic?s yell the word shitty.

Okay now here are the thinks that a really don?t like. it?s a  game baste on a mod ( that?s not good ) and its online? ( it just being a MMO says bad thinks about it) and its glitchy? (this game sounds like everything I HATE in one package)

Even Gamespot is cashing in on its negative hype, sad if you ask me. It was clearly an unfinished game and Hammerpoint noticed people felt it wasn't finished enough. At least wait until the finished version releases.

longestsprout
longestsprout

@LustForSoul How is it sad? It's like an alpha and they advertised it as 1.0. So yes, it's the finished version according to the devs.

I think the negativity is well deserved.

I like how almost everything he says can be applied to DayZ (yes its a mod, but don't think the standalone will have a story, if it does that would be awesome), you pretty much start off with same gear, and as far as hackers its full of them, almost everyone camps cherno and elektro so spawning there sucks, has a bunch of glitches. Point being though I like dayz I don't get how from what he's trying to say DayZ is far superior when it has almost all of the problems WarZ has from what he's saying.Still love DayZ though, and if I recall they said that the Dayz standalone will follow Minecrafts approach as to sell a game (which will probably have a lot of bugs) and fix it as time goes by. So when you buy it, it won't technically be a "finished product" either, so people saying WarZ is crappy for a "finished product" doesn't make too much sense when DayZ won't be either. Hopefully DayZ won't have as many bugs and be a lot more polished that this crap, but will not be a "complete product" when it comes out either, would I touch WarZ..hell no but thought I'd bring that up.. I just hope the standalone will see where these guys fail and fix everything else, besides that dayz is the way to go. Oh and paying for stuff on a game like this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of -____-

It's complete garbage but I don't think DayZ is much better-atleast it's free though.

Kooken58
Kooken58

@markcusdd Dayz is a game mod of Arma 2.  Its a beta game, with limitations. and made by a small group of people. This on the otherhand is a stand alone game. I am sure the stand alone dayz game will be great.

blackrunie

@markcusdd

dayz has never claimed to be a full game, when it's actually a beta. dayz has always stated that it's in development and that's why they won't charge money for the game.

dayz also isn't pay-to-win...

Im convinced that this was nothing more than a scam. And the reason your constantly getting killed Kevin is because the map is waaay to small.

dennisben

Those ppls who are rating this game surely doesn't know this game isn't totally complete so ofc it's an unfinished game?!(NO SHIT SHERLOCK?!)

Ultra_Taco

@dennisben It was put on Steam, basically making it a product ready to be officially distributed and released, no matter how unfinished it was...

Battjas
Battjas

@Renoo27 This game actually doesn't look too bad for a low-budget production like this. The worst things are the low-res textures and the some silly animations. The (light) effects and polygon details are alright

Battjas
Battjas

The whole point of this game is that zombies are not interesting and players are the biggest threat. Which is why i would only play in Hardcore mode  where your character dies forever. Then they still have to do something about the cheaters and bugs, but playing in hardcore mode with friends is where the game should get interesting.

Y'all are cry babies.  This game is great.  Amazing graphics, fast and fluid gameplay and storytelling even the most celebrated film makers of our time would be envious of.  While y'all are whining I'll be enjoying this INCREDIBLE game.  Haters gonna hate.

@ScouseLemon @Plasmid_king I do like this game more than Day Z, which is extremely boring, does not have any real content and to me feels unsatisfying. Not that this is much better but at least i enjoy it more, if not for the bugs and cheaters

Wow been dreaming for a Zombie Survival MMORPG!  Let's see.

1. False advertising lead to the game taken down from Steam.
2. Great concepts, but little delivered as the game pretty much in development stage Beta at most.

3. Little to no control on PK. Excessive harsh punishment system to new or experienced players.

4. Free-to-play but pay-to-win scheme.

5. Even the concepts are literally taken from a famous mod.

Okay, never mind. Guess i kept on dreaming than.

KnocturnalGS
KnocturnalGS

@Bakaro the game was taken off of steam because the games build was incomplete (part of steams agreement with developers).

The game feels more like an alpha build...

Considering what is available through micro transactions... I wouldn't call it pay to win...

Bakaro
Bakaro

@KnocturnalGS @Bakaro
I see. Sure, you are free to defend the game, but it doesn't change my opinion even the slightest bit.

- Maybe it's not the reason for the take down. However, when one did not deliver what are written on the store page, everybody agree that it's false advertising.
- No matter the reasons, selling an alpha build to public is simply unethical business practice.
- Quote Kelvin Vanord : "...but forced to buy weapons and survival gears with real money to stay even slightly competitive." How is that gonna sound not pay-to-win?

Battjas
Battjas

@Bakaro @KnocturnalGS I do agree that they should not have released the game in this beta stage, at least not for purchase.

KnocturnalGS
KnocturnalGS

This is another example of CoD vs BF3 fan basing, and I don't even know why this game was reviewed because it's obviously still in development. WarZ has potential, but at it's current stage there isn't much else to do other than scavenge towns, kill zombies and hunt other players. Here's a tip, if you want to survive in WarZ, join a clan or community that you can play the game with, if you want to play solo, be stealthy and watch your back. WarZ pulls a more realistic aspect to the Zombie Apocalypse genre, if such was a reality, people other than those you roam with wouldn't be so easily to trust, thus resulting in killing. If you were to die, what you carry would be ripped off your body. The game has it's share of hackers, but nothing like DayZ (teleporting, server nuking) ... Arma2 has always been a poorly optimized engine with far too many glitches, however the DayZ development team has done a good job at working out some issues. DayZ isn't MMO based, where WarZ is. I give it to DayZ that it's a more complete game, but it's also running off an existing engine and has been in development for much longer. If Hammerpoint delivers on their promised features, which they have already, people will only realize how much a better game WarZ --CAN-- be over DayZ. The micro transaction system in WarZ is flawed, but it's expected to change. In the case of those saying it's a scam, pull yours head out of your asses because it isn't. The internet loves drama, and anyways, which game developer doesn't copy off others? It's what fuels developers to make their games better thus creating competition.

Kooken58
Kooken58

Also, I dont see dayz as an MMO. They said the servers would support over 100 people, yet i only see servers that only support 50.  Dayz "The Mod" Can support just as many players lol.

Kooken58
Kooken58

@KnocturnalGS Tell me how is it fanbasing?  Warz is soo damn similar to dayz its not even funny. Atleast bf3 and COD have differences. But warz just appears to be a blatant rip off.   And you cant say its still in development because it was released on steam! It pretty much makes it an official release.  Yes developers often copy each others ideas. But this game Copied Dayz to the "T" Even the name is similar.

Colekern
Colekern

@KnocturnalGS There's really not much they can add in. hacking will pretty much always be a problem due the way the engine is made, and unless they've heavily modified the engine, they can't even add vehicles(the devs said this about War.Inc, and they use the same engine).

SergioMX
SergioMX like.author.displayName like.author.displayName like.author.displayName like.author.displayName 4 Like

@KnocturnalGS I can't believe you'd defend a crappy unfinished game that was sold as is, that has a shady micro transaction spawn system (moved from 1 hour to 4 hours to spawn or pay money), stolen assets from other media, blatant lie about development time, poor attitude from the devs to put it lightly, and disregard for feedback. Seriously, if this is what you choose to defend, please stop playing video games.

@KnocturnalGS i don't see any proof of warz being an mmo. in an mmo, thousands upon thousands of players compete or cooperate on a single map. warz allows 50 players. at least dayz doesn't pretend to be anything more than a free mod for multiplayer zombie-killing goodness. your logic crashes and burns.

KnocturnalGS
KnocturnalGS

@aniforprez @KnocturnalGS 100 people servers too. And larger ones "supposed" to be on their way. And I think you don't understand the concept of MMO, this isn't WoW...

aniforprez
aniforprez like.author.displayName like.author.displayName 2 Like

@KnocturnalGS you keep saying that word. i don't think it means what you think it means. mmo is mass multiplayer online. heard of planetside, firefall, guild wars 2, etc? they allow masses of people to play with each other. and i guess 100 people on a server is a new thing since it definitely wasn't there when they released. and yes dayz is a free multiplayer mod for arma 2. the term mod itself means a modification of an existing game which means you need the original to play it. when you say mod, it is implied. warz didn't tell me on release it was broken, or that it had lied about it's features, or that there was no anti-cheat engine, or the graphics were that shitty because the screenshots were gorgeous, or that the weapons you buy you lose when you die, or that the number of bugs would drive you goddamn insane.

KnocturnalGS
KnocturnalGS

@dotanpelled @KnocturnalGS @aniforprez you can start by learning to type. DayZ fanboy and nerd rage it is. Your pretty pathetic actually. Oh and try harder with the insults please, it sort of reflects your low level of intellectuality...

KnocturnalGS

@aniforprez @KnocturnalGS In fact you logic lacks sense. DayZ is free? Funny how you absolutely need Arma2 and it's expansions to play it. Oh, I forgot, Arma2 was the most successful and most sold game worldwide... Good one

I agree with you it has a LOT of potential.. but so far the game is pure trash.. im not comparing this game to dayz by any ways since Ive never played dayz (I might pick the standalone version though)...

oh and Sergey already said that this game was not in beta anymore.. so yes, they can make a review out of it
