Important Enhancements to Online Tax Services - Online Services Press Release

The Income Tax Division has further enhanced its Online Tax Services.

From 26 January 2011, individuals who use Online Tax Services will no longer receive paper copies of tax returns when they are normally sent out in the post. They will instead receive an email advising them that there is a message in their secure online services inbox, telling them that a return is available for completion.

It is anticipated that there will be both cost and environmental savings from this enhancement. Further notices issued by the Division will move to an electronic format in due course.

In addition, an enhancement has also been made to Online Tax Services which enables employers or their agents to submit an online T9 form without the T14 ITIP and NI fields needing to be completed.
