Out all the millions of people that play violent games less the half % have gone out and killed. So if it was all down to the violence in game why have the 99.95+% not gone out with a gun and shoot real people. parents should be looking at them self not the media to blame try show you kids right from wrong insted of sitting them in front of a box. there got to be something very wrong with a person to go in to a school and shoot kids.

i hope this is only a some part on a second disc and made by a diffrent department so it dose not mean less time was spent on single player.
Cracking game! Only had 1 issue of game-halting glitching and nothing else noticably wrong at all. Great graphics too. I also really liked the story AND the ending. Bit of a slow start but it really picks up the pace and I liked how the ending played out. Hated the stupid quicktime bits tho, as in all games. They just break up the gameplay and negate all your gained skill etc. Anyhoo, this is a belter of a game. If anything, underated at 9.0.
Most overrated game of the year! I was really looking forward to this one, but I'm finding it so repetetive and anti-climactic and not that much different to Far Cry 2...except for inferior graphics and physics.
Playing this game in crossfire with 2 HD 7950's doesn't change my FPS, even with Cat 12.11. Good thing a single card runs it well above 60fps most of the time. Great game.
Oh yeah! Platinum Trophy #3 is now in the bag! This was a very good game. I loved just about everything it offered, including the co-op (when it didn't freeze my PS3). Great job, Ubisoft!
@DaNubianPryns Far Cry 3 was my third platinum too :) It was easy compared to Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 lol LOVED this game. Absolutely amazing.

Decent graphics, sound effects and voice acting... I played it several times in attempt to fancy it, but I'm torturing myself; this game actually gives me a headache.
Perpetual running through vegetation and chasing for dimwits in red outfits stems boredom.
After finally getting to play this, I have to say, it has lived up to the hype so far. Aside from the sometimes ridiculously stupid AI the game has its hooks in me and I cannot wait to get back into the islands while I am at work. It has been awhile since a game had me this addicted.
awesome game with a moving emotional ending....really really good, now i can start hitman....
I'm really enjoying this game, but it doesn't really work well with overclocked hardware. Had multiple crashes every 5-10 mins until I set my cpu back to stock 3.4ghz clock. Now smooth sailing. This game is going to take a while.

This is the most boring game I've ever played. I had to delete that shit game off my PC. It should be rated a 2.

i just bought the game and started playing still in chapter 3 however the thing i dont understand is the lag issues on my laptop
i have toshiba x770 with GTX 560M ( 4 gig vram ) 8 gig system ram and core i7 2630
i mean i bought this laptop last year but last thing i expect that after 1 year im runing far cry 3 barely on medium setttings ( i have all drivers so dont bother )
anyone can see this as well ===????

For it to be cliche and than receive a 9.0 is beyond me. I thought the game was quite interesting and the tribal boss and boss battles in general were cool.
The game is great, until you try to do a second play through, which introduces a whole bunch of annoying and game breaking bugs. They're getting patched though, but until then the game is a "play only once" game because it just comes apart on the second run.

FPS games always were and always will be intended to play on PC's with mouse and keyboard, if you want to truly enjoy this game make sure you have decent PC and you will have the best time of your life, all the bugs and downgraded visuals are for consoles, PC version shines and runs as smooth as silk.
@erytas until you need a patch lol and freezes just as you have solved that part that took ages lol

@erytas Sorry to tell you the PC version has the same bugs that consoles, it looks better ofcourse, but although the mouse does give you incredible accuracy while aiming the keyboard is a cumbersome piece of equipment which makes moving and other selection and maneuvering task rather clunky, it just feel not intuitive because it wasn't made for gaming but for typing. In that sense I prefer a control pad any day and sacrifice accuracy in exchange of maneuverability.
no mention of below average frame rate on 360. Oh well, my eyes got used to it. Seriously insanely cool game.
Haven't played one and two is this one of those title's I need the previous games to enjoy?

Is it me or does this game suffer from frame drops, pop up animations and collision detecting? Other games with the same graphical flaws on consoles get punished in reviews (like Dead Island); yet this one not only suffers from buggered visuals but also a lame story and it receives 9.0? I mean i'll give credit where it's due, if the reviewer enjoyed this title regardless of those flaws then fine but the contradictions between "opinion" and punishing titles that are released "unfinished" needs to be a bit more consistent throughout the various reviewers. The review was great however; I just feel the game doesn't look very polished, the graphics look fantastic but I noticed weird collision & pop up issues (excuse my technical terms not sure what they are called). Was the footage from a PC, PS3 or 360?
I'd like the next Farcry to be set in a city like GTA, I've alway's wanted an FPS openworld GTA style game

By the way, the wallet thing is the stupidest thing I've seen in a game in years. There are a pussyllion things you could use as a wallet.
