Though my primary work at RPGFan has been in soundtrack reviews, I first came here to work on the now-extinct Movies section with now-former editor Zone Pharaoh. After that, I took over the soundtracks section (founded by Jason Walton), posted 100-some CD reviews, then took a 2-year hiatus starting in May 2001. As of April 2003, I came back to assist my pal Lucy with the Soundtracks section, enjoying the freedom of not having to manage a section myself. A few months later, I would lose that freedom and become head of the soundtracks section. I held that position, alongside contribution to our game reviews and event coverage, for most of my young adult life. For non-RPG-related game music, I wrote for
Original Sound Version from 2008 to 2011 as well.
In March 2011,
I declared myself retired from RPGFan (and OSV) for personal reasons. I remain listed on RPGFan's staff section as a "consultant," with that sort of "professor emeritus" status that affords me no responsibilities but still a chance to share my expertise when it most helps the site. Though I can no longer offer the time commitment, I remain an outspoken fan of RPGFan, the RPG genre and game music. You can find to a link to my personal-ish blog "Gameosaurus" to your right.
