I found my way into gaming at the tender age of seven. It was a grand time for the world of video games; everyone was exploring the stunning worlds of Final Fantasy on the PlayStation or collecting stars in Super Mario 64. My own experience began with my GameBoy Pocket and N64 where I was first introduced to video games by that well known, overall wearing plumber. Over time I found my true love lay with adventure games and RPGs where I was free to explore massive worlds and foil the schemes of evil villains. Baldur's Gate II was my introductory to that world of fantasy and I haven't looked back since. I tend to prefer Japanese RPGs to Western ones, but sometimes we all need a break form stereotypical character archetypes.
I come from the sunny land Down Under (Australia) where we do not ride kangaroos to work and where koalas are definitely NOT bears. We're a little game deprived down here sometimes when it comes to RPGs, but with a growing gaming community we're definitely heading in the right direction. If our new release games didn't cost $119.95 that would be a terrific start. Aside from gaming I spend my time writing fiction, reading novels, and debating whether or not to buy collector's editions.
I've been writing game reviews since I was twelve and I am glad to say I have come a long way since then. I joined RPGFan in May of 2010 and have slowly been picking up the tips and tricks of the trade. I hope my best work is yet to come!
