Following a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Michigan State during the weekend, Notre Dame fell three spots to No. 5 in the USCHO.com Poll released on Monday. Boston College moved into the No. 2 spot.

Michigan State Athletics
After falling to No. 2 Notre Dame 1-0 on Friday, Michigan State earned a 4-1 victory against the Irish at Munn Ice Arena on Saturday to split the weekend series. Jake Hildebrand made 33 saves in the win.

Miami (Ohio) Athletics
Northern Michigan extended its winning streak to three games on Friday with a 2-1 victory against No. 6 Miami (Ohio) in Berry Events Center. Freshman Darren Nowick scored the game-winning goal.

Sophomore Zac Larraza scored two goals in less than two minutes to help No. 9 Denver break away for a 7-4 victory against No. 13 Nebraska-Omaha on Friday at Magness Arena.
