No. 6 Nebraska won its first tournament championship of the season on Sunday at the Mid-Winter Invitational. The Huskers had an overall record of 10-3 during the three-day event.

Central Missouri jumped four spots to earn its first No. 1 ranking in the NTCA Poll released on Dec. 14. The Jennies have won three tournament titles this season with two runner-up finishes.

WIth the start of the season, these young women are ready to hit the lanes and lead their teams to victory. With the national championship in April, they  have plenty of time to get their teams rolling.

No. 8 Sam Houston State won the Track Kat Klash tournament for the second year in a row on Sunday. The Bearkasts defeated 16 teams, including eight top-20 teams.
