The North Central (Ill.) men and Wartburg women, both 2012 defending champions, are the No. 1 teams in the USTFCCCA preseason poll, released on Wednesday.

After losing its two-year stranglehold on the crown last season, Wartburg reclaimed the coveted trophy in 2012. The Knights piled up 99 points to easily win the meet, with UW-Oshkosh in a distant second.
