• It was late November and though the tundra of Cape Churchill was once again snow covered, Hudson Bay had yet to freeze into the platforms of ice so critical to polar bears survival. So each day, bears keep their shoreline vigil, watching and hoping for  sea ice to return. Making me wonder...  With miles to go before they sleep,  Do we not have promises to keep?
