Final Fantasy XIV Service Has Come To An End
Witness the "End of an Era" trailer for A Realm Reborn.
11.11.12 - 11:19 AM

Last night, just as the clock struck twelve, the red moon Dalamud made its violent descent upon Eorzea, ending service for the current version of Final Fantasy XIV. Fear not: if you ever had a subscription to the game, your character data was saved on November 1st, and will be carried over to Version 2.0. Now that the game is offline, Square Enix has released a CG trailer for A Realm Reborn, and boy, is it a doozy. Relive Eorzea's hour of judgment with the video below:

A Q&A; session following last night's trailer revealed that the development team is a bit behind schedule. A new release schedule for A Realm Reborn will be posted in late November/early December, and the Beta test will open in late January/early February. Check back with us for more details when they become available.
