Digimon World Re:Digitize Screens, Trailer
There's even a Tekken crossover! Well, it IS Namco here.
05.23.12 - 11:29 PM

Here's quite the batch of Digimon World Re:Digitize media. The game's newest trailer, below, is almost four minutes long - it isn't of the best quality, but you get to see a lot of content.

The latest screens include some from the game's opening movie, as well as the game's in-game 'starting city.' In the movie, the main character, heading home via his apartment's elevator uses his cell phone to check on his digital Agumon in the game. Except his Agumon is staring right back at him. Creepy.

When you get into Starting City, you discover that Digimon have been disappearing, which is destroying the city itself. You need to, of course, restore the city by rescuing them.

In battle, your character's Digimon is AI-controlled. You can issue orders using the icons on the screens, and you'll get more of these icons as the digimon's intelligence increases. You can also offer them support by way of items. You can't, however, ask too much of your partners - they'll simply refuse to obey if their stress level is too high.

And finally, today Famitsu.com posted some screens of... a Tekken crossover! Which really not that shocking since the publisher is, after all, Namco Bandai. Lili, or rather, Emilie de Rochefort, from the Tekken series makes an appearance, complete with a background story and two Digimon of her own - Numemon and Monzaemon. Lili is usually found involved in street fights, but has lately been more drawn to the Digital Monsters computer game.

Digimon World Re:Digitize for PSP is currently dated for July 19th in Japan.
