Nayuta no Kiseki Details, Screens
On gear crafts, seasons, skills and more!
05.22.12 - 2:00 AM

Last week's Dengeki PlayStation had quite a few details on Nayuta no Kiseki, but we only have a few new screens, which you'll find in our gallery below. As we know, one of the major features of the title is the ability to change seasons. Of course, when you do so, the enemies, items, layout of the stage, and maybe even the story branch, all change too. And with each season, Noi's magic will be different too. You can combine her spells with Nayuta's attacks for more damage.

Each time you clear a stage, you'll get a rating that will go towards levelling up your sword skills and knowledge. These 'skills' are special moves with your sword that you get by inputting certain button combos, and can consist of anything from multiple hits on nearby enemies to hitting enemies in such a way that they fly backwards. 'Knowledge' here refers to increasing your attack and evasion with certain weapons.

Gear Crafts refer to Nayuta and Noi's co-op skills used to clear puzzles and other obstacles. They can be anything from simply destroying things in your path, to moving so fast you'll run right through enemies and harm them - or even spin up walls.

You'll also get to gather ingredients for all kinds of recipes. Bring these to Arsa Herschel and she'll cook you special meals in the form of bento boxes that you can bring with you to the field. Of course, they'll have certain effects depending on the ingredients - Nayuta's strength might recover, or gain more EXP, for example. Ars will learn new recipes if you find recipe books.

Finally, there was another character reveal. A white-haired girl who was shown when Falcom first revealed the game months ago, Kureha has been asleep in a casket for awhile. Nayuta meets her, but Falcom didn't say under what circumstances, or what happens after.

Nayuta no Kiseki for PSP will be out in Japan on July 26th.
