IRMA |
IRMA (the Irish
Recorded Music Association) is the trade association of the
recording industry in Ireland.
It is mainly concerned with the fight against piracy, both
traditional and Internet piracy. It also owns and manages
the Irish charts and lobbies the political system at both
national and European level to improve the copyright of record
companies.

Services provided by
IRMA for its members include: |
- Lobbying Government for its members
- Collecting & compiling national statistics on the
music industry
- Fighting piracy
- Supplying the Irish top 50 singles and top 100 albums
charts every week
- Providing regular updates on the International Music Industry
- Offering incentives to its members for overseas festivals

Membership Criteria:
|
Only Irish record companies can become members of IRMA.
Record companies must have released a minimum of 1 album
or 5 singles.

Fee:
|
IRMA members pay a yearly fee as follows:
- Small Company: €150.00
- Medium Company: €750.00
- Large Company: €3,000.00
