Add pop-up notes to calls on Android with bytNotes
Avoid forgetting what you were calling about or what you wanted to ask a caller by using bytNotes.

Like most humans, you probably forget to ask certain questions or make certain plans when you're on a call with someone. It's that moment when you hang up, only to remember exactly what you were supposed to talk about. How annoying. Instead of trying to remember everything in your busy life, or having to call people back all the time, why not let your Android remind you of what you need to say?
Naturally, there's an app that does this -- though seeing it integrated into the stock Android system would be a nice future perk. bytNotes, by MSGA, offers a way to add additional information that appears during a call. Here's how to get started:
First you'll want to install a copy of bytNotes for your Android. The free version is ad-supported but seems to include all of the features offered by the paid version. Though it's always a good idea to grab the donate version of apps you love to help the developer out.

Since this is probably your first time using the app, you'll need to start with the Notes section of the app. After a few days or weeks you'll have recent contacts listed in the People and Messages sections of the app to streamline the process a bit.
This is how the recent contact list will appear after you've made a few calls.

Then, you'll want to add a title for your note, followed by more detailed information to help you remember exactly what you need to talk about. The icons along the bottom of the screen let you decide if the note should appear on incoming, outgoing or both types of calls. Additionally, the person silhouette to the far right will let you link the appropriate contacts to the note. This feature is fantastic since you may need to ask several people the same question, like what they got another friend for their birthday, or if they can make lunch you have scheduled for all your friends next week.

When you're finished, tap the check mark in the top right-hand corner to save the note. If you want to change any of the settings, simply tap the note to edit it. And if you forget to link someone on the note, you can just tap the person icon next to the note and find them in your address book.

The Settings area of the app lets you decide if you want to turn off all Incoming or Outgoing bytNotes, and whether you want birthday bytNotes set up for you. And that's all you need to configure to have notes appearing on your caller screens.

bytNotes might conflict with other outgoing call interceptors such as Call Confirm. If you have such applications installed and you face weird behaviors while placing a call, you can just disable outgoing notifications from the settings menu. The incoming notifications will continue to work properly.
Now you won't have to struggle to remember what you wanted to talk to your friends, family and colleagues about when they call or when you call them.
