I am guessing ME3, AC3, FC3, and Halo4 for the final four. FC3 vs. AC3 in the final (mostly because people are still playing them) FC3 wins. Not that I agree with that result, but just speculating based on the voting so far.

The Walking Dead and Farcry 3, played both, I wouln't even consider voting farcry 3 man. What is it? a generic shooter is all, after playing Mirror's Edge, no fps game looked the same to me. About Walking Dead, for the last couple of years no game had this great story and art.

Faramir535 how much of FC3 did you actually play? On face impressions, sure, it's a generic shooter. But if you'd sunk the time into that I have I'm not sure how you'd still be thinking that. I'm not about to spoil the coolest part of this game in this post just to prove a point but it really seems like you've only played an hour of it or so? Stick with it, it's anything but a 'generic' shooter ;)

Of course this is never actually accurate, I mean come on Max paine winning over an artistic masterpiece like GW2, so win or loose dont take it seriously.
csveiman I played GW2 to 80 on two toons and Max Payne surpassed GW2 in every way except co-op.
csveiman bullpoop. No game this year was a "masterpiece" in any way. There were some good games but none this year were spectacular.
csveiman We shouldn't have to choose between a shooter versus an mmorpg. Ridiculous. But Max Payne 3 was a great game, I'm an fine arts student and I'm saying this, I didn't see any game like MP3 for years artisticly.

warlordneuro Although PS2 is not without merit, it still has a lot of work to do before it can be considered a great game. Mainly optimization so the frame rate won't chug so much, but they also need to work on ease of access. I haven't played very much of it yet, and it's been some time since I played a multiplayer shooter on a PC (Battlefield 2142 was the last one), I found it about as easy to get into as a kevlar vest with it's sides sewn shut. Good game, just still needs some work.

jemoedr On a longevity standpoint yeah, Civ V was better than XCOM. I've sunk a lot more time into Civ V. If you go for fun however, XCOM takes it hands down. A marathon Civ game can take up a lot of your time, but when XCOM came out it pretty much consumed my time, if you catch my meaning. My first playthrough I ended up taking a sick day from work just to finish it. Something I can't say for Civ.

P.s.: I know people will kill me because of evident disconnections with part of the Lore of ME3, but i liked the ending.
