The mobile phone giving hotel guests total control

So called "hi-tech" hotels might offer automated mood settings or gadgets that play interactive city guides. But rarely do these flashy extras come together in a neat single concept that also saves you money.

Dan Simmons reports on how a hotel in Thailand aims to do just that, but can a mobile phone handset really deliver five-star treatment?
