Interested in a challenging yet fun indie turn-based strategy game?
We found a great indie game for you this week that will keep you up most of the night as you try to figure out how to beat the demo.
You wake up in an unknown facility, in a medical gown and nothing else. The cold sense of reality sets in; you don't know your surroundings, the time, or why you're even there. All you know is that you need to
The map you must trek through is massive and changes with each playthrough. You will come across many obstacles that will keep you guessing which direction you should take and that will more than likely send you to your death, but there lies the replayability of this game. We found ourselves wanting to keep living and to get further and further through this big map, but the ever-changing terrain with each playthrough keeps you on your toes and constantly rethinking your strategy from before.
You come up against looters, thieves, raiders, and more. We found ourselves playing for hours and hours, and you can too by trying out the demo here, or you can support the developer by contributing to the beta.
I would like to download WRC 2005 , but I cant find the relative link , dont know where to find ....
Sounds neat!
I played and ended the demo, the game is very good with focus on scavenging and item creation. You can run from combat, you can die of infection (anti biotics are the most important item in game), you need to sleep, you need to eat and drink. All of these things are difficult to balance and give you a very addictive challenge.
If the only replay value lies in loading from a saved game because you bit it, I have no interest, since replayability is huge for me.
games a piece of crap sorry
shadowysea07 'Indie' game...that's why they chose that term...
Thank you
Looking through the comments im glad to see im not totally surrounding myself on all sides by idiots. Played the demo and had a blast...contributed to the beta its even more fun. Thanks Gamespot for another great article!!
Im interested in all parts aside from "indie"
iluvOP That is pretty narrow-minded view in an era when indie games are often the best games being made over the course of a year.
Looks interesting, I'll give it a shot. I prefer game play over graphics.
i just briefly played the demo and i think in 5 minutes, i decided that i will play more when i get home from work =)
For fuck sake this sounds so fucking stupid and look at the fucking graphics
blackothh not a real gamer?? hm no I'm a true gamer probably even more than that, and sorry if I offended you cause you seem pretty angry and if you don't believe me check this for the description of a true gamer http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=true%20gamer , the problem I had with this game is the graphics cause in 2012 every decent game should have good or outstanding graphics.
VilandasUK maybe your a retard, because games are not based on graphics. Its about the gameplay. You obviously dont appreciate the graphics, and in the website you posted, why not read up on what a 'true gamer' is.
"True gamers not only appreciate the graphics, AI, and other things, but they KNOW HOW TO PLAY." (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=true%20gamer)
Long story short, you just got trolled bitch. Go roll up in your corner and stfu.
VilandasUK every decent game should have good graphics?
What separates a game from a movie or a video? Gameplay, so you can have a game that looks as good as a movie and plays like shit, and youll have basically a movie of some sort, good only to be watched.
And you can have a game that looks old (cause the only graphics that are really bad are those that are useless, this game's graphics represent perfectly what they intend to) but plays excellent, so what do you have, an excellent game, because its good to be played.
yeah_28 Exactly my thoughts. Well said.
Graphics have no bearing on quality. Fun is the only determining factor.
VilandasUK lol you a funny man, there is a game i know of called life, it has the best graphics i have ever seen
I call this "101 ways to eventually die..."
I hate these open beta's cuz by the time they finally finish the dang game I've forgotten all about it :L
Sounds interesting. I guess I'll give the game a shot and download the demo then.
