Thanks Kurtis for Walkthrough
@ Verne: Well the Rannoch end level boss of course. The giant laser beaming one. It was really hard to defeat it and this certain walkthrough was not a big help, so I checked wiki and found some useful tips. There was no chance that I could beat the boss without tips from wiki.
khatibi22 Hmph ... I replied to this but don't know where my reply went.
Go to the left of the chasm and target the the boss with the designator.
As I recall, he shoots low and raises his aim point until he hits you. Before the laser gets high enough to hit you, cartwheel to the right and continue targeting him. He should get slammed from space before his laser gets you.
For the next round, go to the right side of the chasm and target him. Target him with the designator and cartwheel to the left when his laser gets close to you and continue targeting him. Again he should get stomped before his laser toasts you.
Go back to the left and repeat.
As I recall, once you get a hang of the pattern to use it's not terribly difficult.
I have tried several times but somehow I can't figure out the right way to defeat this boss:| any tips?
khatibi22 What boss?
to many battles to get to the end of a level.
The main, of many, problems with this guide is the label on the titles. Yes, it`s Canada. But, where in Canada? Vancouver! What a surprise!! Seriously, more attention to detail and a lot less sloppyness, Mr. Seid. For Example, Cerberus base mission...ok, well ,um which of hundreds of planets was that?
I just watched two of the new ending cinematics, there are now four major endings. Apparently it is now possible to choose badly enough to lose the entire war against the Reapers. Try it, choose all Renegade responses at the end and watch what happens.
how do you get the Eden Prime achievement, genius?
Hey ... where's the .pdf guide we were promised when joining?
table of contents rearranged, good job! now the guide makes more sense!
thanks!
Great guide, fail to see everyone's problem with the ending, you defeat the Reapers and get a life, the end
wavelength121 DUH, there are no clear details, just generalized findings. Completely unprofessional.
This is the worst walk through I've ever seen. Where's the end?
its there anyway to hide these commens, they are longer than the guide pages. It makes the pages load alot slower with extra stuff i dont even want
When dealing with the 2 brutes and the marauders just before finding General Victus on Menae (Palaven's moon), there is a reaper blackstar heavy weapon located on the right hand side of the map for you to use. So use it!! On insanity, it becomes a necessity!
Dead_Locked795 this was, by far, the most helpful suggestion. Thanks! Too bad this guide was not even close to that. What a waste of space, and this fool gets paid to give mediocre advice.
Good job Kurtis.
havocmerc that`s like saying good job Bush.
How come the Table of Contents only goes up to Geth Dreadnaught? That's the exact point I'm at in the game, and the only reason I looked at this guide was to see how many missions I have left to get to this terrible terrible ending I keep hearing about!
Useless walkthrough in every way!!!
@ali0918: Are you mad? The ME series is one of the few true eletronic roleplaying games we have. Yes, RPG stands for roleplaying game. In Mass Effect series: - Roleplaying? Check. I don't know much games that gives me so many choices about what kind of character I want to be with so many ways to demonstrate it. - Does your choices make difference? While most eletronic "RPG" we see out there gives you choices but they simply doesn't matter at the end, in ME your choices actually shapes and changes the world around you, and also what you'll have to do to accomplish some objectives. So this game is not rpg? You either have got to be kidding me or you simply doesn't know the meaning of the acronym.
this game is best but itsnot rpg
please, rearrange the table of contents so we can navigate easily through the guide.
NEW ITEM PICKUP: after entering the broken airlock and taking out the Cerb punks, turn around to the left and look around the sink to find a SMG Scope upgrade.
Your After Geth Dreadnought scans are the same as your After Sur'Kesh. You should really take a look at that!
Looks like Gamespot gave up on this guide just like they gave up on the Skyrim guide
@kiopta1 I vote for "embracing eternity".
not good enough as real RPG we paid for.
Mass Effect actually is part of a sentence, Mass effect on the unconscious youth of today.
@tex242 Yeah, some having to be completed before you embark on your next big mission ot they'll be gone. A shame the strategy guide didn't tell me that in the first few pages....
"This is Commander Shepard. And this is my favorite store on the Citadel!"
@Kurtis seid COMPLETE IT ALREADY
also for the record people who are saying they didnt get the special ending yet who did multi you need to have between 4-5k war assets forget which it is
I got the green splosion w/o MP, but I didnt get the part where shepard gasped.
in case GS forgot to mention it in their walk through... make sure you do multiplayer and get 100% war readiness... that will allow you to CHOSE the GREEN light which is BY FAR the Prettiest of the 3
Renegade Interrupt: kill Kai Leng, Don't press Renegade Interrupt: Kill Kai Leng. CHOICE!
OKK ME MY SELF DONT CARE IF IT WAS GOOD OR BAD ENDING BUT I WISH FOR BIOWARE TO GET US NEXT TIME A ONE DECIDED ENDING, AT LEAST THE ENDING, SO WE COULD REST IN PEACE
if you are colorblind...this game has just 1 ending :D
Very Usefull :-)
Lol, there is no "Best" ending. Just different colors.....
Everyone complains about the ending saying that is wreaks the game completely. I think that yes, the ending was quite disappointing, but it didn't erase the fun I had getting up to that point. It is still a good, fun and powerful game I had a really good time with. In my opinion it's the journey not the destination.
@djforlife84 You are so right, god forbid we ask for quality for the price they demand. It is also so unreasonable and selfish to ask them to live upto the promises they made pre-launch. You have made me realize the error of my ways and from now on I will accept the pile of crap they give me, and will even smile and thank them, because we all know we got where we are today by accepting everything as-is.
Just for laughs...what will ending a beloved series the way Bioware did in future be called? Pulling a Bioware? Pulling a Hudson? Embracing Enternity? ?
i don't want that Bioware alters the end! but i would like one "that what happens now" add-on! ( spoiler) i don't know the oders ends yet, but on my end after the scene of normandy crew in that planet, it gets back to the remainings part of the cidadel, to shepard body! Appears only his chest, and suddenly he breathes!! so shepard is alive!!
Let me see... -Blue explosion or -Green explosion or -Red explosion decisions...decisions...decisions
@djforlife84 100% agree with you. I hope bioware doesn't alter the ending in the slightest. Sometimes gamers look like 3 year old kids who enrage for a bag of crisps or candy.
ag_04 djforlife84 you sound like retirees being told what to accept and having no choice but to accept it. `Off to the retirement home for you sailor, and no, you have no say in the matter because we know what`s right! for you`... LMFAO, I rather be a child that fights for his rights than a fool that gets herded to nowhere. Really, think about. They`re abusing your rights as a consumer and you just take it. WEAK.
P.S. I played all 3 games with same character. With all DLC installed. I actually played them in a roe... in the month before ME3... so do not dare telling me i don't understand what ME is. Thank you.
@djforlife84 i totally agree with you. Some opinions are so puerile. I actually loved the ending. Seeing Joker and EDI made Shepard's sacrifice (if he really did die) worthy. I hate the ending because it doesn't give me more details. What happened next. What happened to Shepard and the others... But there are ways to explain all these later... just keep the hope burning. These Stop Koni, Stop Acta kids now want to change a game ending!? What next... petition Tolkien to bring Boromir back to life?
