 Agreed; it would definitely add to immersion for me.  Having said that; I hope the Devs never push realism and immersion to the point of having to take several direct marketing calls in game per day!  LOL!

If you think about it Far Cry 3 had introduce more new animation than other game. If you look with of the game for example even when climb the ladder you wont be able to see your hand animation and its like you are using lift or something lol. oh how about when you swim not many game give you a good animation for it. So far only Dishonore and Far cry provide so many new animation like being beat by animal animation, jump from the cliff into the water and many more.

Dude WTF did you expect? you want the character to lost the arm and leg and than he going to the doctor and replace it with robotic leg and arm than he lost his eyesight, because the bee make him blind than he had eye robot and guest what he turn into Adam Janson lol and than he said "I never ask for these the year is 2025".

That would not be realistic either! Have you ever played Modern Warfare?When a dog attacks you, YOU DIE. Now, shouldn't you die when atttacked by a shark, a tiger or a bear?

Dude thats the reason why they put shark there and tiger so that you can kill it and once you kill it you can take the skin to create more wallet to carry more gun. If each time you got kill by tiger or shark when they bite you than you will never be able to get them. Almost every game is like that if you got shoot you not going to die right away you hide and wait for your health to regenerate and in real life if you got shoot you wounded and will noy heal by itself.

So yah these is called a game and to give you feel how it feel when being attack by shark or tiger.  You will not be able to have the entire game reflect with a real life outcome you might as well if you got shoot by one bullet than you down or if they shoot your leg than thats it you will not be able to run anymore is that what you want?.

You have seen what happen to the previous far cry 2 you got these malaria and weapon jam and look what happen ppl hate it and in real life thas what happen.

 Machdoem  This is not real life, it's just a game. A GAME. I think it's okay to bend the laws of nature a bit.

Thats what i am trying to tell him he want the game to make the character to die when he got bite by the tiger and shark so why not make the shooting it self even more realistic. So if you got shoot by one bullet in your head and thats it you dead you had to start all over again lol so if thats the case than you might as well keep sniping from the distance so that you wont get kill like in real life lol so how you feel when you play that kin of game. You not even going to progress in the first level and you still there trying to wipe out all the enemy in the camp and trying to survive by yourself like rambo lol.

 Machdoem Well, if you want to play a shooter that has a "get hit once and you die" theme, play the old Contras or Metal Slugs. I don't think modern games do that theme nowadays.

There is one game also called Operation flash point and that even not trying to be so real.

 Machdoem OK, man. Everyone has an opinion, and that's OK. I loved Far Cry 2, one of the best games ever made to me, and I don't understand why so many negative critics. I really likes the weapon jamming, not so much the malaria pills. And I really expect Far Cry 3 to be just as nice.

Clearly nobody at Machinima has played Fallout 3 ;)

What did you think Danny i think most of the open world these day still dont have much or even enough dynamic element in it such as the placement of AI randomly in the world like n left for dead. Or maybe in a game of FEAR they should make ALMA appear randomly and not scripted which make the horror element predictable and lost its horror.

I think most developer need to start putting that kind of dynamic in open world game so that each time we start a fresh game we always got something different. It would be great too if each time we start a brand new game the character would somehow start in different place so each time we play its always feel fresh and new dont you think?.

Have you ever think about turning a game of F.E.A.R into an open world game like Half Life, Fallout and Borderland?. I believe if any developer turn any open world game with a hard core horror element like FEAR or maybe " Amnesia the dark descent" the game will sell like popcorn.

Imagine you are exploring and it was at night with full weather cycle and than your torch light its about to dead and you see a building to explore to find battery, ammo and new weapon. After you are inside the building you when into the toilet section and all of sudden bang you see little girl behind you in the mirror and than you look at the back nothing there and the light start flickering and than you start running and make your way out of the building and you know something is following you from the back and when you are about to reach the entrance "BANG" the door slam on your face. That you start RAMBO "AHHHHHHHHHH DADADADAD BANG BANG BANG KABOOM BOOOOM I WILL KILL YOU ALMAAAAAAA" all HELL break louse.
