  • Summary: Revisiting past plots from the series and exposing Umbrella Corporation's actions, The Umbrella Chronicles features eight playable characters, including Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. As seen previously in the Nintendo Wii version the title also features a brand new chapter in Resident Evil history. Recommended. [Issue#221, p.81]
  2. Despite Capcom's bandaging these games do show their age. Luckily the gameplay is truly timeless. These rail shooters are inspired by The House of the Dead, an arcade classic which was also remade recently for the PlayStation Move. [September 2012, p.84]

Keep in mind, though, that you'll be able to buy it separately for less within a few weeks, and for people who just want a decent lightgun game, that'll be a better deal in my opinion. That said, neither game is good enough to spend money on unless you're a diehard Resident Evil fan. Even then, there are better ways to blow $30 bucks in the name of fandom, like buying as many of the Resident Evil films on DVD as you can.

Brilliant... Fun 2-player action with decent graphics, excellent cutscenes, and responsive controls. Don't need Move controllers, but hightly recommended. Never played the original games-- only had holes filled in by Operation Racoon City, RE4, and RE5-- so these are a neat way to experience the original storylines. Tons of collectibles to find and well as lots of weapons upgrades. Expand
Expand
  3. After playing it on wii since release, both titles have really improved. I can never go back to the wii after seeing how much better the graphics look. The Wii version has jagged and blurred graphics. This one is crystal clear. If i did not know better id say this should of released on PS3 instead of wii hands down. Awesome game on both platforms, but PS3 version is much better. Expand
