Foursaken Media is a company that doesn't believe in resting on their laurels - or resting at all, for that matter.
After releasing a sequel to their Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning N.Y.Zombies in October, Foursaken announced that its next project, Heroes & Castles, is set to release next month.
About as far away from a zombie survival horror game as you can possibly get without moving into the realm of "With Friends" games, Heroes & Castles is a hybrid action/RPG/castle defense game set in a fantasy medieval world. Medieval mayhem
Players in Heroes & Castles can select one of three character classes to play as. Each class has its own unique abilities, but they can be customized with gear dropped by vanquished foes.
Touch Arcade reports that Heroes & Castles will also feature a co-op multiplayer mode, similar to N.Y. Zombies 2, in addition to single-player gameplay.
It will be very interesting to see how all of the disparate elements of Heroes & Castles come together in the finished product. Thankfully, we won't have to wait long as the game is due out for iOS devices in December.
