First Sleeping Dogs story DLC out October 30
Debut campaign expansion Nightmare in North Point landing later this month offering a "few hours' worth" of content; no price announced.
The first campaign expansion for Sleeping Dogs will arrive later this month, United Front Games and Square Enix announced at New York Comic-Con this weekend, Polygon reports. Titled Nightmare in North Point, the content will release October 30 and is Halloween-themed.
Nightmare in North Point follows the story of a member of the Triad who is tortured and killed only to return to life with a legion of undead at his side. Players will be tasked with taking down these supernatural beings as protagonist Wei Shen in the content that spans a "few hours."
No price or platforms for Nightmare in North Point were announced. The content is part of the previously announced October DLC release slate for Sleeping Dogs that includes a range of offerings, including new races, weapons, items, and missions.

pathetic game was pretty good to ruin it with this mediocre fantasy, zombies? piffft
Another game with zombie DLC... great. :/
Keep calm, and wait for game of the year/complete edition :)
I might not get this. I am expecting more from the Triads story line.
nice nice! cant wait lets hope its not expensive and only few $ Love the game but dont feel like spending 10$ for 2h long dlc.
If the "undead" are jiang shi, it will at least be thematically correct. If they're plain old zombies, then shame on you, UFG.
I loved this game for it's realism. I want to spend more time in this world, but I'm not sure what to think about a zombie mode.
I pretty much built a new pc just to play this game with full graphics since I couldn't get a solid framerate with high settings on my old pc. I really want to like whatever story they can add to it, but zombies seem kind of cheesy & opposite of the gritty realism that attracted me to the game in the first place.
DLC already?
Harrydapro
already? came out mid august and its getting DLC at the end of this month so thats 2 and a half months
SirNormanislost Which is enforcing my point. 2 and a half months is far too quick for a DLC to be released.
DLC for a horribly overrated game...
Generic zombie mode. Sigh. I would perfer an actual continuation or some form of expansion of the SD universe. There is alot of potential!
Sounds good, I just need to buy the game now before this releases :P
A lot of news stories about DLC today. It's Monday after all.
sounds great! i cant wait!
Sweet!!!
I like Sleeping Dogs and zombie games, but this game doesn't need a zombie mode.
My copy is coming this week, I hope I love the game enough to get this DLC as I love story DLC. I also hope this DLC will offer so more achievements!
DLC's should cost 1 $ if they get you 'a few hours' worth' of gaming! and 5$ if they give you tons of content and playtime! Noooo cash is important here :(
Sleeping Dogs: Undead Nightmare!!!!
so many games try to put zombie in where they don't belong -.- either make a zombie game or don't, just don't make a game and add zombies to it as extra crap
Majkic666 Well either play the DLC or don't, just don't play a game and then complain about the extra crap
CountZurich Majkic666 no u are wrong acutely u can do that as it uses the game name sleeping dogs sure its just a dlc but still shifts away from its real goal
So when are we getting the racing DLC? The SWAT DLC? etc?
I'm actually halfway through the plot, but have completed all the side missions & collectibles. I'm hoping for more side stuff to keep me interested in the main game proper. So the sooner with the side DLC, the better.
Fun game!
collinmul It says right in the article this DLC has races, items, weapons and missions.
immortality20 No, I was referring to the separately sold (but not yet released) "Street Racer pack", "SWAT pack", and "Tactical Soldier pack" - as referred in GameSpot's article at http://www.gamespot.com/news/sleeping-dogs-adding-4-dlc-packs-in-october-6396953
Have anyone of you ever played True Crime: Streets of LA? ANYONE?!? Then why are you all complaining? As far as i remember there was a campaign about undead and stuff. And it was awesome btw. First thing you think about when you hear a word 'undead' is a zombie? Jeez man, new fags these days remind me of hipsters.
I love zombie games and movies, but this DLC doesn't fit with this game... I would rather have another triad or police corruption as DLC. Or maybe this DLC takes place when RE6 outbreak happens...jk
I will probably get it because I liked the game so much. BUT I much rather have additional Triad and police cases to solve then handling Zombies... I mean, it would be cool if you could consolidate power by becoming a "Dragon" (head of one of the Triad families) or a Chief police officer. I really liked the story, it's a shame they didn't use it further with this DLC.
Don't like zombies but I can't resist more content for this game. As a sidenote, kung-fu zombies? That's original.
I am so tired of Zombies. Doubt I'll get this based solely on the zombies. Ohwell, nice to see them adding substantial content anyway even if it may not be to my liking. ^^
Because everything needs zombies these days ¬_¬
Hmmm, the undead. Original idea is original.
I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would, mainly because of the hand to hand combat. So many other games coming out though, not sure if I will keep up with the DLC.
