Moustaches are to men what breasts are to women: They encompass our masculinity and no man is happy with the ‘stache nature deals him. Every man, at one point in his life, has attempted to grow a moustache. Some fail, some succeed and a few of the successful ones adopt it as their look for life. Some of history’s greatest men, and some of its most infamous, have worn moustaches. Mahatma Gandhi, Wyatt Earp and Frank Zappa were all mustachioed, as were Hitler, Stalin and Genghis Khan. The moustache really does make the man, but some men abuse their gift of a hirsute upper lip by growing absurd moustaches that no human being should ever sport.
