Show Summary

EDIT

From Kurt Sutter, writer/producer of The Shield, comes Sons of Anarchy, a dark drama set in Charming, a sheltered community watched over by a renegade motorcycle club intent on protecting the town from the newcomers that threaten it. Jackson "Jax" Teller is one member of the brotherhood, who finds his own loyalty to the group tested when he experiences its increasing lawlessness and notoriety, while at the same time adjusting to life as a father. But confusing matters are Jax's mother and stepfather, two ruthless individuals who happen to be the masterminds behind the club. Sons of Anarchy is broadcast on FX, and produced by FX Productions, Art Linson Productions and Fox 21. The series has been picked up for a full 13-episode first season. As of October 6th, 2008 this show was renewed for a second season, consisting of 13 episodes.

  • I have watched this show from the very beginning but I am quickly losing interest...

    1.0
I really hated to see Op off the show but I absolutely hate Tara, and Jax is losing favor with me as well. He seems to have her all up in the business and as a character I feel she is pretty useless.I don't see how the club has this badass leader that is tied to his wife's apron strings! I would've like to see her killed on the show and Jax back with the Able's mom. If she's still on she show by the end of this season, I just won't watch it anymore. I hate when they take a good show and mess it up.moreless
  • If that is possible

    10
I am glad I didn't review this show when it first came out, for the simple reason you can't go higher than 10. This show has continued to get better and better as the seasons go on,(If that is even possible) Much like the Sopranos and the God Father movies.

Well Done! Hands down the best show being aired today!

  • Give us back Ope...Take the Doc instead

    8.5
Couldn't they have killed off the Tara instead of Ope? I love Ope!

Tara irritates me with every nasty look and manipulative word out of her passive-aggressive mouth. I haven't liked her from day one and I keep watching and hoping that she'll be killed off in a drive by or kidnapping gone wrong.

  • You saw it comming, but it still hurts

In season 1 Ope lost his wife, he lost his new girl thereafter, in the last season his lost his father and he sees his best friend (Jax) and his family, the club, going for the worst. All Opie had left was his loyalty and honor. That's why he said goodbye: to his past: by putting Piney's Trike up for sale in the season opener, to his freedom: by entrusting the care of his kids by his old lady/wife, then joining Jax, Tibbs and Tig being incarcerated in episode 2 and finally to his life: in this episode. But he remained forever, the loyal, trustworthy Ope, we all came to love... protecting his club

To blame for it all is not Tig, may it be, he ran out, tried to kill the Niner leader and in the process managed to kill Pope's daughter as collateral damage. Tig was just the "gun", the real kilkers are the ones that let this lose cannon (as Sergeant of Arms utterly loyal to former Pres - Clay) go on a berserk rampage. Jax and Clay, loaded this "gun" by blaming the Niners, and pulled the T(r)igger, by not controlling his actions thereafter. I see a hint of realization and blame in Jax's eyes, he himself, is to blame of this ordeal, before all else, but his hand is forced too, trying to save the club.

In all a pivotal episode in the series, a turning point, and BOY do I hope they take out that head guard and Pope in a very painful way later on this season, don't we all....moreless
