Gresham, OR - November 8, 2012 -  Whales are getting closer to becoming beached as Dingle LLC, today released more screenshots and details on Beach Whale, the 2D action game coming to iOS and Android on November 26, 2012. Beach Whale offers retro gaming action in a beautiful and quirky world. With six unique whales, every whale in Beach Whale may be upgraded individually. Upgrading whales will unlock new abilities and better statistics. Whales may be upgraded to have a tongue, blowhole, tail flap, big mouth, and a wax belly. All upgrades are different and have advantages given the right circumstances. Upgrades are purchased with the fish the player eats and wins from completing levels.

Tongue - One of the most powerful upgrades, the tongue may be used to grab items from far away and kill weaker enemies such as crabs. The tongue proves essential to collecting items at the Pirate Bay and Fisherman Wharf, since most items are trapped in clams and cages in those levels.

Blow Hole - The blowhole is the cheapest upgrade to obtain, however it makes a significant difference in the speed of the whale. While surfing a wave, players may use the blowhole to make them accelerate faster. This is a great upgrade for whales with a slower base acceleration.

Tail Flap - Mobility is everything in Beach Whale, and the tail flap increases the mobility of all whales significantly. When activated, the whale will flap its tail and get a speed boost for next six seconds. The tail flap allows whales to jump-start their speed when momentum is lost on the beach.

Big Mouth - Beach Whale is all about collecting fish; the bigger the mouth, the more fish the player can collect. Although a subtle change, the big mouth makes a great difference in the amount of fish players collect in the long run.

Wax Belly - As the most expensive upgrade, this passive ability applies a thin layer of wax to the belly of the whale; land becomes less scary and the whale can slide easier on the beach, encountering less friction.
