OXM 92: Hitman! Need for Speed! Metal Gear! Lost Planet 3!

Our latest issue is a stone cold (bald) killer

Bizarre Winnie the Pooh references, yelling by Treyarch's David Vondehaar about sniper etiquette, insider info as to the premise of Mass Effect 4 - our latest, now-on-sale issue has it all. But what it mostly has is exquisitely dressed face-murdering care of Hitman: Absolution, reviewed to the tune of nine body-filled dumpsters out of 10.

Deeper in, you'll find more thoughts on the ice-bound, robot-fixated Lost Planet 3, along with a verdict on Need for Speed: Most Wanted, a worthy alternative to this year's finest racing game, Forza Horizon. There are also sprawling guides to Halo 4 and Black Ops 2's respective multiplayer components (hence the yelling about sniper etiquette), and a mighty Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance preview which should give Devil May Cry the sweats. No pressure, Dante, but the competition's pretty handy with a blade.

Out back, there's a lengthy behind-the-scenes account of 10 heavyweight games that got stuck in development hell, including Sleeping Dogs, Bioshock, Alan Wake and (gasp) Halo: Combat Evolved. On the disc this month, demos for Resident Evil 6, Pro Evolution Soccer, cute RTS Age of Booty and Kinect star The Gunstringer, among other bountiful goodies.

Sold? You can buy a physical copy online with free postage, download a copy for iPad from Apple Newsstand, or nab an Android-friendly version from Zinio. Enjoy.

  1. Why bother with cover discs anymore? I'd rather save a few sheckles and download it from the market place.....

  2. I am having a problem as the disc doesn`t work. I have noticed that the edges are a bit deformed, shame as I liked the pictures included with this month. Otherwise its a great issue.

  3. I switched from the paper edition to Zinio about a year ago. Reading the mag on a tablet is great... Or at least it would be if this months issue was available. I chose to use Zinio because I like to have the mag on my PC as well (Apple's newsstand is all very well, but what if I change to an Android tablet in the future? I can't read the old mags.) Zinio isn't much better - last months issue was about a week late arriving, and this months is late too!

Digital mags are great, but you can't shop around!
