About

Kyle writing out a Cblog in 2008.

A feral child raised in the woods of California by a gaze of raccoons, one day Kyle happened upon the Cblogs and was taken in by the cult of the giant green robot. The rest is history really.

Kyle got his start on Destructoid as a Cblogger who was incredibly enthusiastic about the Nintendo Wii for some reason...childhood nostalgia and No More Heroes, mostly.

A chance meeting at a party in Los Angeles landed him a games writing gig at Gamer Limit, where he honed his skills or lack thereof. Fast forward a bit. Now a little more. Okay stop.

So, Kyle was on the treadmill, checking his email and one popped up from Niero that said "Fuck yeah, you're hired!" or something to that effect. Now he shares his love of obscure, bizarre Japanese games on the front page. It's a dream come true.

Review: Half-Minute Hero: Ultimate Boy

Half-Minute Hero was arguably one of the PlayStation Portable's best games. As a deconstruction of the role-playing genre, it poked fun at its peers by condensing the core experience of an 80+ hour epic down to just thir...   more
