Just as Desmond (and you) were getting familiar with the Animus and its Crusades-period time frame, you're yanked out and forced into a completely different era. Welcome to the Renaissance.
With new cities to explore and a host of hidden feathers and glyphs to find, this new world can be a bit daunting. Moreover, the repetitive, easily mastered missions of the last game are replaced by more diverse challenges that'll constantly throw new things at you.
