Hotline Miami looks like your kind of game, eh? Learn some useful tricks before you put on that mask.
Whenever there are 2 guys in a room with guns, grab a weapon and throw it at one guy to dispatch the other guy, because more often than not, the other guy will get you before you finish off the first, and since guns will alert other people, throwing a weapon silently is more the best way to go
Try to hug the doors. More than often enemies will just stream in a row trough it and you can easily dispatch them with a fast melee weapon. When you get the Unicorn mask use it. It makes your shots extremely silent and you can clear out rooms without making all enemies come after you. Also don't forget to use shift to look around and plan out your killing spree.
Oh and if you need it use the aim lockon with the middle mouse button. You can alsp shoot through yellow walls btw.
Use shift to scout constantly. Even if you know the level; enemy patterns change. Punching is sometimes faster than certain melee weapons. Against a group od enemies punching can be very powerdul. Out of ammo with an enemy rushing you? Throw the gun! Also useful for taking out ranged guys. Use space for stealth kills. Use door takedowns when attacking multiple enemies in a room.
God the soundtrack is intense.
The whole thing is up for streaming on Soundcloud.
Loving "Hydrogen", "Crystals", "Miami Disco" and "Deep Cover".

A tip id give is is to wear the Carl or Tony mask IMO best choices.also stay constantly moving and strafe enemies as much as possible, bating gun wielders can be extremely invaluable . also if you see a lone enemy dont just melee press get close and press space-bar for an assassination that gives extra score, remember the throw button, especially as tony executions grant more score.Make a plan then rush in,if you want A+'s you can't waste a single precious second. don't be afraid of dying,as there's no penalization for it.Be as reckless as possible, it grants a hefty amount of score.
while i agree with most of what Danny said. I don't think the AI is that stupid. I've had several unexpected deaths because of a specific AI character's change of behavior. They are not as predictable as you think they are. Watch out buds.
ptrpedrohung It's not Danny.
Gelugon_baat I think he meant the reviewer, who mentioned these same problems, which was Danny.
I really feel like I need a mouse. I've managed to make it halfway through the game using my laptop's track-pad, but my scores have been pretty low due to my limited aiming potential.
I've been having success with throwing weapons, especially if you have a room with a gun-toting enemy on the far end. Throw a weapon to knock him down, grab the next nearest one and beat everyone else down before he can get up and shoot at you.
Other tip: if there's just a lot of gun guys and you don't want to pick 'em off, quickly step out and back into cover. If you do it right, they'll all dumbly march over and you can bust them in the face as they round the corner/walk through the door.
The Snake mask makes things pretty easy too, as it makes all thrown weapons an insta-kill.
