They should create a special tool in the game that allows users to set up non-lan servers easily with special in game controls to manage it all.

minecraft is amazing and if you watch the yogscast, thesyndicateproject...ect....

you'll know what an amazing game it is, i mean you can create anything you can imagine!

warcraft, starcraft...minecraft? Cut the crap minecraft...8.5 rating? Total BS!!! The game feels like crap. I couldn't believe a friend of mine wasted money on this game. I really don't like the idea of playing in a world I create (where's the fun in that?) and the graphics totally sucks and it hurts in the eyes just playing it in at least half an hour. I remember playing a pc game with a better graphics than this 6 years ago.

I think the reviewer is lying in front of everyone watching this review. No offense to the fans of this game, but it really feels like "crap" and boring as hell. "Brutal challenge..?" BORING! The review is a big lie. Probably the reviewer is just a long time fan.

i agree with his review completely, only that the crafting system is quite enjoyable because learning in games can be quite fun, as instead of gaining "XP" youre actually learning and gaining more and more experiances in the game that allow you to quickly know what to do. and thats very exciting believe it or not. its exciting in the sense that instead of it telling you what or how to do something, you get to find out yourself, whether that be looking it up on the internet or legitmately figuring it out on the spot, either way finding out how it works in the game is very very fun. its like finding another king tuts tomb. its just this feeling of joy and overall excitment. definitly the multiplayer is the best part as well. if youre interested in a server that would work best i highly recommend LOSTCRAFT. they have PVP, FreeBuild, Survival, and soon to be Hungar Games Server, really good server listings! and no im not a paid advertiser either i legitmately (after looking everywhere for a good server) founf LOSTCRAFT and found it to be the very best of the best! check it out!

Oh.... I played the free demo and it sucked horribly. Now looking at this I can see why poeple even play this game lol. Looks amazing! F(U&*(&^ck graphics..... Looks like fun!

where do you get it from is it on a disc or is it better to download it from the website?

@ErdeiMarius The game isn't about good graphics, it's all about gameplay, which is actually quite addictive.

good review, your the best reviewer. @erdeimarius i had the same mind set as you. but its a good game. think of it as this. people like to make model airplanes or build puzzles. this game alows you make anything that you can think of with no limits and you can show it off to your friends.

I find it really funny how people raging at the game about its graphics or something like that haven't played Minecraft, and probably just took one look at it and don't like it. Watch Uberhaxornova's youtube videos so you people who hate the game can see how fun Minecraft can be :)

Addicting for sure. Being a lego junkie back in the day, this is a little too addicting. Graphics...Get over it. But if you cant, there is a pretty big mod community around this game but i like to play the game as it is intended to be played (no extra recipes or blocks). Unfortunately im also a visual guy. So i spent 30 minutes online and found a plethora of appealing texture packs (even at higher resolutions *needs mod). I dont need next gen graphics but i do enjoy playing Minecraft with decent textures...a lot!

@ Ltsteves - Enchanting came out in an update after release. This review was made of 1.9-rev6. As that was the version Mojang released to reviewers

the exp system DOES have a purpose, being enchanting weapons and tools

@JudgeSim I have something I would like to share with you. For the human body, when one sense is blocked, the other senses "grow in" to fill the gap. Minecraft has a simple level of graphics, some people would say it has bad graphics. Because of less time spend making the game "shiny", Mojang actually decided to make great gameplay and environment. Think about it.

@DownloadFailed It's okay, metacritic gave it a 97 XD Better score than they gave skyrim.

It's a different style of graphics, and graphics aren't everything. Minecraft benefits from the simplicity of the art. It doesn't need to look like a polished game to be amazing, the actual gameplay components count far more and that is how it should be for all games. Not saying games shouldn't have great graphics, I just think gameplay is more important... unless you just love eye candy. Then play battlefield 3.

Minecraft is very fun, i was play in Minecraft a lot.

@alanadooa dont worry your not alone, i did the same. I guess its one of those games you gotta play first to appreciate.
