Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aerospace)
ST Aerospace is the world’s largest third party aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul provider with an annual commercial airframe capacity of more than 6 million manhours. With more than 7,000 staff operating from its offices & facilities located in key aviation hubs in Asia Pacific, Europe and & United States, ST Aerospace’s global customer base spans many of the world’s largest passenger, freight and low cost airlines, and advanced military forces. It provides engineering and maintenance services for a wide range of military and commercial aircraft through its three operational divisions: Aircraft Maintenance and Modification (AMM), Component / Engine Repair and Overhaul (CERO), Engineering and Materials Services (EMS).
Singapore Technologies began operations in 1975. It became publically listed in 1990 and also expanded into the commercial market with the setting up of AT Aviation Services CO Ptes Ltd (SASCO) and Airlines Rotables Limited (ARL). In 1991 ST Mobile Aerospace Engineering Inc. (MAE) was set up, followed by ST PAE Holdings Pty Ltd in 1993. In 1997 the company aquired Dalfort Aerospace. In 2003 the company moved into the airline sector, wet leasing aircraft.
